How to apply for a primary school place
Admissions to Goldsmith Primary Academy are handled by Walsall Council.
You will be contacted directly by the council to apply for a place in Reception and can apply online or by completing a paper application form. Walsall Council will then contact you in April to inform you which school your child has been allocated to.
The portal for making your September 2025 application will be open between 4th November 2024 and 15th January 2025.
Primary National Offer Day is Wednesday 16th April 2025.

How to apply for a secondary school place (Year 6 transitions)
Admissions to secondary schools are handled by Walsall Council.
You can apply online or by completing a paper application form. Applications for September 2025 are open between 2nd September 2024 and 31st October 2024.
Walsall Council will then contact you in March to inform you which school your child has been allocated to, National Offer Day is 3rd March 2025.
