Goldsmith Primary Academy Celebrates Jigsaw RE Flagship Status!

We are delighted to announce that Goldsmith Primary Academy has been officially recognised as a Jigsaw RE Flagship School!

This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality Religious Education (RE) that supports pupils to develop their understanding of different religious and non-religious worldviews, while fostering respect, empathy, curiosity and open-mindedness.

At Goldsmith, our RE curriculum gives pupils opportunities to explore and learn about a range of faiths and worldviews, including Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Judaism, Humanism and the Baháʼí faith. Through this learning, pupils are encouraged to ask questions, consider different perspectives and develop an appreciation of the diverse beliefs and values that shape our communities and wider world.

Our curriculum follows a spiral approach, allowing pupils to revisit and build upon their knowledge and understanding as they progress from EYFS through to Year 6. Lessons are enquiry-based, encouraging children to think critically, discuss ideas and reflect on their own thoughts and experiences.

Being recognised as a Flagship School celebrates the consistent and thoughtfully embedded approach we take to Religious Education across Goldsmith. It recognises the important role RE plays in developing pupils as respectful, compassionate and confident individuals who are able to understand and appreciate different perspectives.

We are incredibly proud of this recognition and look forward to continuing to support every child to Dream, Rise and Aspire.
