Goldsmith Primary Academy is thrilled to announce that we have been crowned EdTech Innovator of the Year at the National Schools Awards 2024! This prestigious accolade was awarded at a ceremony held at the iconic House of Lords, where leaders and educators from across the UK gathered to celebrate excellence in education.
This award is a reflection of our commitment to embedding technology into every aspect of learning to unlock the potential of every child. From introducing iPads as part of our digital curriculum to fostering creativity through interactive platforms and tools, technology is at the heart of our mission to inspire and empower our students.
Our journey to this point has been remarkable. Earlier this year, we were honoured to be recognised as an Apple Distinguished School, showcasing our leadership in digital innovation. The combination of these awards demonstrates that we are not only delivering exceptional learning experiences but also paving the way for future generations of learners.
At the heart of this success are our amazing staff and students, whose passion and dedication drive everything we do. Their enthusiasm for embracing new tools and methods is what truly makes Goldsmith Primary Academy a leader in education.
Reflecting on this achievement, Mr Wakeman, Headteacher of Goldsmith Primary Academy, said: "This award is a celebration of the dedication and innovation of our entire school community. It shows what is possible when technology is used to inspire creativity and unlock potential. I am so proud of our staff, students, and the wider Goldsmith family for this incredible achievement."
This year’s National Schools Awards focused on recognising schools that make a difference. Goldsmith Primary’s achievement in the EdTech Innovator of the Year category showcases the transformative power of technology when applied with a clear vision and passion.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. This award is not just a win for Goldsmith—it’s a win for our students and their futures.
