Goldilocks and our nursery provide a safe and secure environment and we work together to safeguard children. This means protecting their safety and welfare through policies, procedures and good practice. In line with our commitment to parental partnerships, we aim to keep you informed and included in all aspects of the care and education of your child.
With regard to safeguarding, this entails developing two-way information sharing, trust and honesty. On a daily basis, this will involve discussing with each other any concerns, accidents/incidents that have happened in Goldilocks or at Nursery, at home or elsewhere, and these will be recorded appropriately to protect you, us and most importantly, your child.
This is a standard procedure and in line with our school policy and procedure expectations. Our safeguarding leads are Mrs Middleton and Mrs Taylor-Janes, who, in addition to your child’s key worker, are available to answer any questions, give advice or listen to your concerns.
