Goldsmith Primary Academy provides a warm, welcoming and safe environment for all children. We provide a wide range of support to ensure that students settle into life at primary school and enjoy their time at our school.
Mrs Taylor-Janes is our Family Support Worker. She can offer help, advice and support to our families in a range of ways. If you require any assistance, or simply want a ‘listening ear’, we are here to help. Areas we can support include:

Mr Baker is our Behaviour Mentor. Her role in school is to support children to achieve their potential by overcoming barriers to learning both inside and outside the school. Mr Baker uses a variety of strategies such as 1:1 mentoring, nurture groups, classroom support, lunchtime clubs, parental engagement and the delivery of Forest School sessions.
Children in year 6 can contact a School Nurse on this number and ask for advice about any physical or mental health problems.
Parents/carers can contact a School Nurse if they are concerned about their child. We can offer advice about any physical or mental health problem. Your text will be answered between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. This is a safe service offered by the NHS.
