Our School Day:

School Opening Times and Information

Daily Schedule:

  • Breakfast Club: 8:00am – 8:20am (Free to attend; enter via the main entrance)
  • Gates Open for All Pupils: 8:40am – 8:50am
  • Registration: 8:50am
  • Goldilocks and Nursery AM Session: 8:40pm – 11:40pm
  • Morning Break:
    • KS1: 10:15am – 10:30am
    • KS2: 10:45am – 11:00am
  • Lunch:
    • R & KS1: 11:45am – 12:30pm
    • KS2: 12:30pm – 1:15pm
  • Goldilocks and Nursery PM Session: 12:20pm – 15:20pm
  • Afternoon Break (KS1): 10-minute break at the teacher’s discretion between 13:40 and 13:50
  • Home Time: 15:20pm for all year groups; Gates close promptly at 15:30pm (Children not collected by 15:30pm will be taken to the main office)

Drop-Offs and Late Arrivals:

  • Drop-Off: All pupils use the Main Gate on Goldsmith Road.
  • Late Arrivals: Gates close at 8:50am. After this time, enter through the main school office. Teachers are not available before school, and parents cannot drop children at the classroom door.

Break Time Snacks:

  • EYFS and KS1: Choice of fruit or raisins.
  • KS2: Toast (Best of Both Bread). Healthy snacks and a refillable water bottle are encouraged. No fizzy or energy drinks.

Collections:

  • Goldilocks and Nursery AM: Pupils will be collected from the main office at 11:40.
  • Goldilocks and Nursery PM: Pupils will be collected from the South playground, at the end of the day, from 15:20
  • Reception, Year 1, 2, and 3: Collect from the South Gate (Swimming Pool) and go to the child’s classroom door. Remain behind the fence or cones.
  • Year 4 and 5: Collect through the Main Gate on Goldsmith Road and go to the child’s classroom door.
  • Year 6: Collect from the North Playground via the Main Gate. Year 6 pupils with permission to walk home will be dismissed from Goldsmith Road.

Important:

If someone different is collecting your child, please inform the school before the end of the day.
You can either:
- Send a message via Class Dojo to your child’s teacher
- Or call the main office

In line with safeguarding guidelines, we are unable to allow anyone under the age of 14 to collect a child from school without express written permission from the Headteacher. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils.

If someone under the age of 14 attempts to collect a child without prior written approval, we will be unable to release the child and will need to contact a parent or guardian to arrange an alternative collection.
