School Meals

We recognise the vital part that a healthy diet plays in a child’s wellbeing, development and ability to learn and achieve effectively to unlock their potential.

We provide a range of healthy food choices throughout the school day and encourage healthy eating. Our menus are nutritionally balanced and run on a three week cycle.

We believe lunchtime is more than just about eating. It expands our students' academic and personal potential. Children sit together at lunch, whether eating school meals or a packed lunch, which encourages social interaction, are encouraged to try new foods and develop their table manners.

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 can enjoy school meals for free.

Children in Years 3 to 6 may be able to claim free school meals (eligibility criteria include a family income less than £16,190 and not in receipt of Working Tax Credit).

If you are not entitled to free school meals, lunches cost £2.60. Payments are made via your Arbor app.
