Our School Day:
Below are our school opening times for a typical week.
- Breakfast Club gates open 8:00am – 8:20am
- Gates open for all pupils between 8.40am – 8:50am
- Goldilocks and Nursery AM session is 45am to 11.45am
- Registration starts at 8.50am
- Morning break for KS1 is 10:15am - 10:30am, KS2 is 10:45am - 11:00am
- Lunch: KS1 11:45am - 12:30pm, KS2 12:30pm-1:15pm
- Goldilocks and Nursery PM session is 20pm to 3.20pm
- KS1 have a 10 minute break in the afternoon at their teachers discretion
- Home time is 3:00pm for Reception – Year 6
- Gates will close promptly at 3:20pm**. Any child who has not been collected by 3:20**pm will be taken to the main school office.

Breakfast Club:
This club is free to attend for all pupils. Your child will be able to eat breakfast, read, chat with friends, play games and much more. If you wish to attend Breakfast Club, please enter the school site, using the main Goldsmith Road entrance.
Drop offs:
For Reception, Year 1, 2 or 3, please enter the site at the South Gate (Swimming Pool) on Goldsmith Road. For Goldilocks, Nursery or Year 4, 5 and 6, please enter through the Main Gate on Goldsmith Road.
Late Children:
Gates to school will also be closed promptly at 8:50am. If you arrive at school after this time, you must enter through the main school office. Please remember that your child's teacher is not available before school and parents are not permitted to drop children to their classroom door.
Break time:
During morning break, EYFS and KS1 children are given a choice of fruit or raisins. KS2 children are provided with toast (Best of Both Bread). You are welcome to provide your child with a healthy snack. Please send all pupils with a refillable water bottle. No Fizzy/Energy drinks.
Collections:
For pupils in Reception, Year 1, 2 or 3, please enter the site at the South Gate (Swimming Pool) on Goldsmith Rd and make your way to your child's classroom door. Please remember to remain behind the fence or cones to make dismissal easier. For pupils in Year 4 please enter through the Main Gate on Goldsmith Road and make your way to your child's classroom door. Pupils in Year 5 and 6, who are being collected, can be dismissed from their classrooms on Masefield Road or via the North Playground, next to the Year 4 and 5 classrooms - please let your teacher know of your choice. Year 6 pupils with permission to walk home alone will be dismissed on to Masefield Road, through the Year 6 classroom doors.
The total time school is open per week is 32.5 hours.
**with the exception of Goldilocks and Nursery pupils who can be collected directly from the new EYFS building.
